It is similar in structure to human hair, scaly, but the scales of the super kid mohair fiber have not developed or opened, so it does not irritate the skin or itch. For this reason, super kid mohair also does not feel or pill like regular wool.

Itgoes mohair knit care

Mohair effectively repels dirt and cleans itself, so mohair knitwear does not need to be washed often. The mohair product should be aired in moist air outside, so that the fiber swells and odors and traces of use are removed, and at the same time the product is refreshed. Your sweater will last as good as new and beautiful for a long time if you maintain and store it correctly. The rule of thumb is to ventilate often and wash rarely. Allow the knit to rest properly between uses. If necessary, wash the sweater turned inside out by hand or with a wool washing program. Use a gentle, neutral detergent intended for washing wool. Stains attract moths, so remove stains fresh with gall soap or walnut soap. Do not soak the sweater and handle it with care. Do not twist, rub or wrinkle the sweater
strongly. Rinse in several rinses. After washing, do not spin, but squeeze out the water by rolling the sweater in a thick terry towel
inside. Do not tumble dry. Shape the sweater when it is damp and dry horizontally in an airy place, for example on a towel, not in the sun or on a radiator.
After drying, you can brush the sweater so that the long mohair fibers come out beautifully again. You don't need to iron the mohair knit, but if you do, iron it from the wrong side with a steam iron or through a damp cloth at a temperature of 150 degrees. Preferably store the sweater in an airy pleat on a shelf horizontally. Close the zippers and
buttons. Especially long, thick sweaters stretch on a hanger.

When you don't use the sweater for a while, protect it from pests by storing it tightly in a plastic bag or plastic box with a lid. Some hair will come off from the new mohair knit, but you shouldn't be afraid of it. Hair loss stops when the excess fibers have fallen off. This is helped by using the product, airing and brushing and washing. Be prepared for 5% loose hair coming out of the mohair knit in the first wash. Protect your sweaters from pests. ITGOES mohair products have not been treated with pesticides or any surface treatments, so their correct storage is important.

By brushing the long mohair fibers of the mohair knit straighten and restore the fibers beautifully
out. It works like brushing your own hair. A mohair brush is safe when used correctly. The knitwear is placed on a flat surface and brushed with gentle parallel strokes in the longitudinal direction of the knitwear. So never sideways and back and forth.
