The Dreams kid mohair sweater is a stylish and classic sweater model. The sweater has an o-neckline and slightly dropped shoulders. This lovely kid mohair sweater has 81% mohair, which makes the sweater very soft and luxurious. Kid mohair is a finer, softer and lighter version of mohair.
81% kid mohair, 17% polyamide and 2% elastane.
Kid mohair is naturally hypoallergenic and the product does not contain sheep wool, so the knitwear does not itch.
Please note that the sweater will shed approximately 5g of loose hair initially, this will stop with use and ventilation.

The most common questions about kid mohair
Does kid mohair itch?
No. The most common reason why mohair knits itch is because there is sheep wool in the blend. We have intentionally left this out. In addition, kid mohair is softer and silkier than regular mohair and is a naturally hypoallergenic fiber.
Does the product cause hair loss?
Yes. But only at first. Kid mohair knitwear sheds about 5% of the weight of the knitwear as loose hair, just like in nature. When this amount is full, the shedding stops. You can get the amount of loose hair back by airing and using the product.
Does the product get tangled?
No. Kid mohair is a long, smooth fiber whose scales have not yet fully opened. So a kid mohair product does not tangle in the same way as, for example, sheep's wool, which is a short, coarse fiber. If the kid mohair hairs get "bunched", you can untangle them with a mohair comb (a comb that looks like a bottle brush).
Why is there only one size of the product?
Kid mohair is a very flexible and durable fiber, so the knitwear adapts to many different sizes. In addition, we have several different models that suit different body types. The kid mohair yarn we use in our knitwear comes from Australia and the kid mohair knitwear is produced in Italy.
Our knitwear meets the strict RMS (Responsible Mohair Standard) standards, which guarantees that animal welfare is taken into account in production.
